Jamni’s Journey Towards Financial Independence

“Jamni’s Journey Towards Financial Independence” is an animated awareness video we created to help rural communities better understand the MGNREGA scheme -and how to access livelihood opportunities within their own villages.

Developed with PRADAN and Inclusive Economics India Centre, the film uses storytelling and simplified visuals to walk viewers through the key steps - from applying for a job card to securing work under the scheme.

Through Jamni’s story, the video empowers women and collectives with the knowledge to claim what’s rightfully theirs—a path to dignified and local employment.
