Overview
This campaign follows a single character who keeps reinventing himself online. New usernames, new disguises, new numbers, new personalities. He tries every trick to cheat the game, until MPL Rummy’s AI flags him and pulls him into a wormhole where his identity collapses. Manoj Bajpayee appears at the end, delivering the punchline that MPL Rummy has strict policies and can permanently ban cheaters.
What was the challenge or idea?
The idea was to expose the many ways people try to cheat and flip the narrative into an entertaining, watchable story. Instead of lecturing users, the script demanded a fun build-up of transformations that exaggerates the creativity of cheaters, ending in a dramatic collapse when the system detects foul play.
The challenge was to keep the tone humorous while still communicating the seriousness of MPL’s anti-cheating framework.

How did Rotten Tree approach it?
We built the film around performance and transformation.
One actor played multiple alter-egos, each with distinct costumes, voice tonality, and attitude.
A colorful, casino-like digital background set the visual world.
Rapid transitions, motion-led cut points and exaggerated VFX amplified the comedy.
The wormhole sequence required complete compositing to achieve the “sucked into the system” effect.
Manoj Bajpayee’s closing segment was shot with a calm, authoritative tone to land the core message.
Production, direction, edit, VFX, color and finishing were handled in-house for full aesthetic control.
Impact & Usage
The film was used as a performance asset to reinforce trust in MPL Rummy’s platform.
It simplified a complex topic (fraud detection) into a humorous, memorable storyline that performed well on social channels due to its character-led humor, celebrity appearance and strong visual identity.
One actor playing four completely different personas
Full VFX wormhole sequence designed specifically for the script
A mix of comedy acting and serious messaging
Integration of Manoj Bajpayee as the voice of authority
Neon, arcade-style visual world built from scratch
High production value for a performance ad format

Trivia
The wormhole “sucking” effect was shot practically with the actor leaning into a wind source, later enhanced digitally.
The identities (Ravi Kumar, Raveena Kumari, Ravi_Millionaire, King_Ravi) were all shot in a single session with rapid costume switches.
