What was the challenge or idea?
The challenge was to merge:
Real-world environments
Pixel-art animations
Motion-graphics trails
Dynamic UI elements
…into a cohesive, scroll-stopping visual language.
We needed an aesthetic that felt like gaming overlays bursting into real life, while keeping performance metrics strong for Indian acquisition audiences.
Other challenges:
Matching camera movement with animated pixel icons
Ensuring animations felt native to Indian gaming culture
Covering multiple game categories without clutter

How did Rotten Tree approach it?
We looked for everyday Indian scenarios: a student leaning against a college wall, a woman discovering a win in a corridor, commuters in autos and taxis, and sweeping shots of iconic Indian cityscapes.
Then we layered a playful, pixel-art animation package over each scene using:
Pixel ladders
Snakes & Ladders icons
Card suits
Dice
Cricket balls
MPL speech bubbles
Hand-drawn strokes
Motion trails
Explosive transitions
The result:
A film where India itself feels like a giant game world, colourful, chaotic, and full of winning moments.
Impact & Usage
This promo was used across:
Performance marketing campaigns
App-install ads
